She had only just come back to work that fall after the birth of her first child. when she learned (on her 29th birthday!), that her job was being eliminated. Holy SHIFT! But it didn’t take her long to find a great fit managing a new online service at a different company nearby. People thought “Wow! This lady gets SHIFT done!” Fifteen years and several additional career shifts later, Gina is now a master of the career transition and coaches business professionals on how to navigate the twists and turns in their own career transition.

Session Summary: 

Getting started with AI and machine learning can be daunting. Use my research – we’ll discuss several different tools that I find valuable and the different reasons. We’ll take a quick walk-through each one so you get a better understanding. Covering pros and cons, providing suggestions on what they’re good for in terms of possible goals, aligning with technical stacks, costs, and what their roadmaps look like.

Some of the tools we’ll cover include:
Google’s Cloud Machine Learning Engine
AWS SageMaker
Azure Machine Learning Studio
TensorFlow
PyTorch
Keras

You’ll walk away with understanding the major players in the AI and machine learning tools space. Your barrier to entry on doing some AI work or play will be lowered by knowing these tools. At the very least, you’ll be able to speak more of the AI jargon around the water cooler! However, these tools may give you a leg up when your company decides to go further with AI and you could help lead that effort!

Greg Levenhagen is a Principal Consultant with Skyline Technologies, a Microsoft Regional Director (RD) and a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP). He has a great passion for giving back to the community and teaching. A true enthusiast of computer science, with passions and interests including AR/MR/VR, AI, mobile, UX, architecture, distributed computing, 3D/games, cloud, automated testing, web, agile, languages and much more. Greg speaks at conferences like ThatConference, CodeMash, VSLive and Code PaLOUsa.

He is also a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT), board member of ThatConference, president of the Milwaukee Code Camp, president of the Northeast WI Code Camp, president of the Northeast WI Developers User Group, co-organizer of the Fox Valley Game Development Meetup, co-organizer of the Midwest Azure User Group, organizer of MobileMKE, cofounder of the Northeast WI Agile User Group, INETA speaker and IEEE and ACM member.

Along with being a life-long geek, Greg enjoys golfing, football, woodworking, philosophy and stimulating conversation.

When most people think about network security, they think firewalls, not printers. But, in fact, your printers may be exposing your organization to a host of risks. Like any other end point in your network, printers have memory, processors and operating systems. Without the proper safeguards, you’re vulnerable and don’t even know it!

Jay’s presentation will discuss this area of security few organizations address. He’ll explain the risks, why most organizations bypass the time-consuming task of safeguarding their printers, and ways in which you can assess your risks and provide security monitoring and compliance across your entire fleet with solutions that are automated, efficient and game-changing.

Jay Brown, CISSP, joined Marco in 2019 and is currently the leader of the Print Security Practice where he specializes in print fleet security management.  He is experienced in financial IT regulations, healthcare regulations, government frameworks and industry frameworks and standards including COBIT5 and ISO 27000.
