November 2017 President’s Message: Member Appreciation

Greetings Everyone!

A warm hello to all of the NEW AITP chapter members. As the last chapter meeting of 2017 approaches, I would like to thank all of you for your continued support over the years of the NEW AITP chapter, our student chapters, our region and for all the relationships with your IT peers and colleagues. It has been a pleasure serving our members on the board as Region Director, Chapter Secretary, Chapter Vice President, two terms as Chapter President and also as Region 5 Vice President. We have seen many changes, tried a few new things and are in the midst of many new changes to come. I’m looking forward to contributing to our continued chapter growth as Past President – there is still so much to do!

November’s chapter meeting has always been reserved for Member Appreciation. This year is no different. I invite everyone to come to our last chapter meeting of the year on Thursday, November 16, 2017 @ Van Abels of Hollandtown. We will be having a traditional holiday party with great food, beverages, give-a-ways, prize drawings, holiday music, socializing and yes, some chapter business, too. Please bring your holiday cheer, ugly sweaters, holiday jokes, stories and Thanksgiving or Christmas attire.

Please register as soon as possible. Spouse/partners are welcome to attend! I hope to see you there!

–Jay Esty, NEW AITP President 2016-2017–
